You’ll find Austin to be a very drivable city and area overall, and that includes downtown. Let’s start with some publicly accessible basic maps to get your bearings. Just click on any of the categories below to get a feel for the area, including a selection of downtown hotels. You should try to get a flavor of our great downtown district when you visit. Don’t let the title "Warehouse District" fool you. This is a major dining and entertainment part of downtown. We have tons more throughout Austin, but you have to start somewhere.
